Why I love coaching:  I love coaching because it gives me the opportunity to give back to the sport that brought me so many life experiences and taught me so many life lessons.  Coaching volleyball also gives me the opportunity not only to teach players the in's and out's of volleyball that I have learned over the years, but coaching also gives me the chance to influence my players' skillset and life in a positive and encouraging way.

Years Coaching: First started in 1991 and have been coaching on and off since then. Oh my goodness, that’s almost 30 years!

Playing Background: - College: UWM Men's Volleyball D1 team, co-captain. Teammates with Coach Erik Olson and MVC player Max Tome's dad, Gary. 

Coaching Background: Club: North Shore MVC 14-1 USAV National Tournament Runners up, Orlando Gold VBC 17-1. Mequon Elite girls 18-1; High school: Thomas More (freshmen girls) Shorewood HS freshmen boys, Greenfield JV boys, and Wauwatosa East freshmen boys  College: Carroll College women’s (conference champs/NCAA DIV III  tournament)

Why I love coaching:  I think volleyball is a very special sport in that it is one that can be played at a variety of levels at all ages and remains exciting. I love giving back to this sport because it has been such an inspiration in my life and brought much joy; it is the one thing that has always been there for me.
